Well….I was getting so excited for this fall season & having fun styling simple outfits to put together as the weather got colder….but the funny thing is that aside from a few random days here and there, it really hasn’t gotten cold yet and we are still having heat waves here in NYC even though its already October!

Shades of Pink for SS17-The Look #16

The Spring Summer season is right around the corner and it’s always fun to dream about what you will be wearing once it’s warm outside when it’s actually freezing cold and you’re bundling up in coats & layers every day. There are lots of different trends emerging for Spring/ Summer but one of the standout themes has been a feminine romantic look with a FOCUS on the color PINK.

Pink is the color of LOVE & is associated with OPTIMISM, ROMANCE & PLAYFULNESS. Kind of what we all need right now with everything that’s going on in the world…. It’s always a good idea to think positively and focus on what’s good in your life & wearing certain colors can really lift your mood and create a sense of fun!

Here are some of my new favorite PINK items for the Spring season. Some could be worn now & some later….I’m especially loving  the soft shades of DUSTY ROSE & BALLERINA PINK and all the RUFFLES, flowing CHIFFON fabrics & CUT-OUT details.
