Paris Fashion Week-FW 2017 Style Trend: “The Madness of Glamour”

It’s all about GLAMOUR for the Fall 17 season from Paris Fashion Week. “When the going gets tough, the tough dress up” and there was a feeling of dressing up against all odds, against all the madness of the world….

I especially loved the collections of Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Saint Laurent & Isabel Marant. There were lovely faux fur coats in sweet pastels and fall brights. Dresses were embellished with metallics and lace. The overall feeling was eclectic, RETRO-kitch and psychedelic. I’m loving the pretty dresses, tailored coats, delicate ruffle trims, metallics & retro embellishments.

Shades of Pink for SS17-The Look #16

The Spring Summer season is right around the corner and it’s always fun to dream about what you will be wearing once it’s warm outside when it’s actually freezing cold and you’re bundling up in coats & layers every day. There are lots of different trends emerging for Spring/ Summer but one of the standout themes has been a feminine romantic look with a FOCUS on the color PINK.

Pink is the color of LOVE & is associated with OPTIMISM, ROMANCE & PLAYFULNESS. Kind of what we all need right now with everything that’s going on in the world…. It’s always a good idea to think positively and focus on what’s good in your life & wearing certain colors can really lift your mood and create a sense of fun!

Here are some of my new favorite PINK items for the Spring season. Some could be worn now & some later….I’m especially loving the soft shades of DUSTY ROSE & BALLERINA PINK and all the RUFFLES, flowing CHIFFON fabrics & CUT-OUT details.

The holiday season is upon us….and it’s time to start thinking about all those fun events and parties & what you’ll be wearing this season….I’ve been loving all the 80’s inspired styles that are in the stores right now as well as some of the “New Wave” inspired collections that are coming soon for Resort 2017. These fun, over the top and truly optimistic styles provide just the escape we need right now. Pile on the glitsy glam and bring out the bling….then go out and have some fun!

I’m loving this dressed up Glam look that’s mixed with edgy embellished leather, ripped denim, metallic rock studs, sleek metallics and cool animal prints.
