We just got back from a quick trip to Los Angeles & since the weather is still so warm here in New York City I’m still wearing all my favorite summer dresses on repeat. But with September coming up & right around the corner, new fall items have been on my mind.

Sometimes a few new key pieces can be added in to blend with your summer wardrobe & give you a head start on the fall season.

Here are some of my favorite new items for fall/ transition in prices ranging from “the splurge to the steal” :

The Embellished MOTO Jacket (throw it over your summer dresses at night when it gets a little chilly now & wear for a cool daytime look for fall)
STUDDED Booties (fall is always a great time for new boots, but with all the cool new styles out now, who can wait till then? Pair these with bare legs and a skirt for now & anything else for later)
DENIM MINI: the perfect transition piece to wear now and later that ultimately goes with everything

It’s the middle of August, but summer’s not over yet! There’s still 3 more weeks till Labor Day weekend… so lets make the most of it! I’m so excited to get some more beach days in and have been thinking about some cute looks that can take you through a long fun day at the beach & then out to dinner and drinks….

A beach day can be so relaxing but sometimes I tend to bring way too much stuff with me…so I’m thinking it would be more of a zen-like experience to pare it down a bit & narrow it down to: my top 6 summer beach day essentials in different price ranges from the steal to the splurge….

Hope you had a great holiday weekend! I’m so happy that spring has finally arrived here in NYC & enjoying the warm weather….One of my all time favorite things to wear in the summer is a little white dress & this season will be no exception. A simple white dress screams Spring/ Summer & can be worn season after season as it actually never seems to go out of style….

For those who like improvising, add a cool studded belt, a fringed bohemian style bag or leather booties to wear it in a cool way. Simple, sexy & confident is the way to go!

Here is the outfit I wore for Easter brunch with the family…..this is one of my go-to favorites & I just love the lace fabric & off the shoulder details. I also like how it can be dressed up or down or even worn over a pair of jeans for your weekend adventures….

I love the sunshine! Just a few days ago it was the first day of spring & I am beyond excited for this new season! Let the sun shine on in….
Spring is always such an exciting season & especially after months of wearing boots and bundling up every day, it’s so exciting to put on pretty dresses & tops, light weight jackets and open toe sandals again. I’m so excited for all the new outfits to wear once the weather is perfect and warm again!

This season there are so many amazing new trends that definitely match my personal style on repeat: feminine details, bright colors & a vintage vibe. I’m so excited about these new looks but I know that sometimes it can be hard to figure out what you might want or need to refresh your wardrobe come spring.

1) Think Pink/
Pink is the hottest color this season! It’s such a flattering color and a great update to a basic wardrobe

Cannot get enough of ruffles! This is such a fun new trend that comes in all different sizes and there are many creative ways to wear ruffles this spring
3) Tropical & Bright /
The bolder the better! Get inspired for that Tropical Vacation…

Paris Fashion Week-FW 2017 Style Trend: “The Madness of Glamour”

It’s all about GLAMOUR for the Fall 17 season from Paris Fashion Week. “When the going gets tough, the tough dress up” and there was a feeling of dressing up against all odds, against all the madness of the world….

I especially loved the collections of Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Saint Laurent & Isabel Marant. There were lovely faux fur coats in sweet pastels and fall brights. Dresses were embellished with metallics and lace. The overall feeling was eclectic, RETRO-kitch and psychedelic. I’m loving the pretty dresses, tailored coats, delicate ruffle trims, metallics & retro embellishments.

The Look #19-“Ruffled & Ripped” White Tops & Dresses with Denim & Bright Handbags…. #Outfitinspo for Spring ’17

It’s been so warm and sunny the past few days in NYC!

I’m getting so excited for the NEW SPRING SEASON & thinking about all the fun tops and pretty dresses to wear when the weather stays warm for good. I know everyone has their “go-to” looks and special timeless favorites that they come back to time & time again….For me it’s always been the pretty white tops & dresses paired with denim that really sets the mood for me for early spring. My closet seems to be filled with cotton, chiffon & lacy little white dresses and tops that I never seem to tire of & I always LOVE to pull them out again at the first signs of spring. I think this is such a classic and feminine look that always looks fantastic & perfectly accessorized with gold jewelry and edgy leather accessories mixed with pops of color.

The off the shoulder trend is still going strong this season….as well as bell sleeves, ruffles and one shoulder style tops and dresses. Pair your ruffled tops with ripped denim & cool leather with soft lace….

Casual Chic- Black, White & Blue in Brooklyn

THE NEW T-SHIRT, JEANS & LACE TREND

Sometimes it’s just fun to keep it simple & throw on a WHITE T-SHIRT & JEANS. This is one of my favorite and most comfortable outfits to wear that you can go back to time & time again. But of course you don’t want to wear just any old T-shirt or any old jeans, it’s got to be something that flatters & makes you feel good! I’m loving the “LACY CAMISOLE over a T-shirt” look, but sometimes it can get a bit tricky to pull off. This top is so simple and cute & I love the way the little CROPPED CAMI is built in for a seamless look. Also loving long NECKLACES & these simple medium wash JEANS that are so affordable.

I wore this ZARA top & jeans with METALLIC GOLD accessories, a FAUX FUR MOTO JACKET & suede BOOTS for a lunch date in Brooklyn. This is a fun & casual daytime look….just add some rocker-style accessories for an edgier look or dress it up with heels and a blazer for a more ladylike & sophisticated vibe.
